I’ve made no secret on this blog that I am a fan of Joe Biden, but he is really starting to kill me.

While mostly flying under the radar in media coverage as a VP candidate thanks to the trainwreck that is (was?) Sarah Palin, I think he deserves credit for convincing many white, blue collar workers in Ohio and Pennsylvania that voting for a black man was actually in their best interest. But these days, the man literally cannot open his mouth without unleashing some sort of controversy. It’s getting to the point where I see his name on the Sunday talk show lineup a week in advance and I’m already cringing.

Last month, at the height of the swine flu epidemic, he famously told Good Morning America that he told his family to steer clear of public transportation at all costs–ramping up the panic that he was specifically out there for to tamp down. That, of course,  led to the now familiar Joe Biden Backtrack and Apology, along with an apparent major media interview blackout.

Well, after a month of staying off the airwaves, he was back in full force this past week while promoting the progress in the Iraq War. Despite Iraq being his reason for giving an interview, Motormouth Biden still managed to give the green light to Israel to attack Iran and caused the dip in today’s stock market by making unnecessary, alarmist comments about the economy, all in about fifteen minutes.

At this point, it’s getting harder and harder to tell the Real Joe Biden from the Fake:
